originally an inktober picture. went and colored it this weekend. Chandra Nalaar in her home plane Kaladesh. cant say i really liked Kaladesh but it was cool to have a Chandra centered story other than jace.
these buildings are so hard to draw, nothing like Ive ever tried before. i did enjoy trying to put more into it though, like little touches of her armor and effects on the building

Wow it looks truely awesome! I imagine capturing all the detail from Magic's art is a truely daunting task but I think you did really well.
The character showcased here has a very pleasing design. Like the light armored robe look fashion and all the detail on both the flowing fabric and the solid plates look really good and I like the intricate pattern on it as well. We get a good idea of her character with her confident smile and her clear love of pyromancy. Even her skirt seems to have a nice firey pattern.
The backdrop is also amazing. I really am digging the creative designs and fantastical aesthetic of this city. You really captured a great feeling of impressive size and scope which really gives this city a sense of wonder and awe.
